1- Introduction to the Faculty

As we all know that Afghanistan is an Islamic country and the entire Afghan nation has complete faith in the beliefs of Islam. Since the second century AH, our people abandoned all previous beliefs and adopted the holy religion of Islam; So far, this religion has influenced all the foundations, areas and angles of the individual and social life of the Afghan people and has taken root in the depths of their thoughts and actions.

The Faculty of Sharia Law is a continuation of the same official government schools and scientific centers that have been responsible for training scientific, judicial and other departments of the country throughout Afghanistan's history.

The Faculty of Sharia of Ghor Institute of Higher Education with a subset of ten cadre posts, two departments (Islamic Education and Jurisprudence and Law), General Teaching Management, Executive Management, Library Management and Sexual Authority, was approved in 1444 AH by the respected official of the Ministry of Higher Education and As the first academic center of Shari'a sciences and the fourth The faculty of Ghor Institute of Higher Education was officially opened in the same year with the initiative and scientific activities of (7) professors and the inclusion of (19) students from the graduates of the twelfth grade and the School of Shariah Sciences (Darul Uloom Abu Hanifa).

The course of study in both departments of this faculty (Islamic Education and Jurisprudence and Law) is four years and students graduate with a bachelor's degree. After successfully completing the course program and completing the monograph as a thesis, students graduate from the faculty and are recruited in the departments and institutions of justice, law, educational institutions and other governmental and non-governmental bodies.

b) Faculty Objectives

The Faculty of Sharia Law intends to be recognized as a prestigious scientific and educational center based on Islamic values ​​and applicable laws of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, according to the needs of society at the national and international levels, through teaching, research and providing excellent services

2- Mission

The Faculty of Sharia as a prestigious scientific and educational center, using the available facilities and opportunities, is committed to educate and present the children of this country as scientific/religious cadres that are considered an urgent need of society.

Departments

The Faculty of Sharia Law of Ghor Institute of Higher Education has the following two departments:

Department of Islamic Education

Department of Jurisprudence and Law

1- Department of Islamic Education

a) Introducing

The Department of Islamic Education was established in 1444 AH. It was established at the same time as the Faculty of Sharia Law. The department teaches the subjects of Hadith, Hadith sciences, beliefs, Tajweed, rules of worship, jurisprudence and commentary. The Bachelor of Islamic Studies course is offered in eight semesters and 16 weeks. The curriculum of the department has been reviewed and made available by the Curriculum Review Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education.

b) Objectives

1. Perspective

The Department of Islamic Education, in the form of the Faculty of Sharia Law of Ghor Institute of Higher Education, is determined to become a leading department in the fields of judiciary, defense advocacy, imams of mosques, pilgrims, invitation and guidance and religious departments at the national level. 2. Mission

The Department of Islamic Education in the form of the Faculty of Sharia Law of Ghor Institute of Higher Education is committed to using its available facilities and available opportunities to train and provide scientific and professional cadres to meet the needs of society through teaching and providing scientific services.

2- Department of Jurisprudence and Law

a) Introducing

The Department of Jurisprudence and Law was established in 1444 AH. Simultaneously with the establishment of the Faculty of Sharia, according to its vision and mission, it is engaged in training and presenting young cadres in the field of jurisprudence and legal sciences to the society, which carries out its responsibility with 5 permanent professors. The department currently has (36) students who are studying in two classes (morning and afternoon).

 

The curriculum of the department is reviewed and taught by the Curriculum Review Committee. Students are engaged in the bachelor's degree in this department for four years (eight semesters) and after successful completion of the courses, all students are obliged to write a work in the form of a monograph (thesis) in accordance with the guidelines for monograph writing and after successful defense in Before the Dispute Board, I as a bachelor of the same field educational, are recognized.

 

b) Perspective

The Department of Jurisprudence and Law within the Faculty of Sharia Law of Ghor Institute of Higher Education is determined to be a pioneer department in the Ministry of Higher Education in the fields of judiciary, prosecution, defense law, ifta and research, especially in training scientific, specialized and purposeful cadres. .

c) Mission

 

The Department of Jurisprudence and Law within the Faculty of Sharia Law of Ghor Institute of Higher Education is currently engaged in training specialized, purposeful and innovative cadres in society through teaching and providing educational services in order to meet the current needs of society and promote science and knowledge.
