Computer science faculty

1- Introduction

The Faculty of Computer Science was approved in 2010 by the Department of Network Engineering and Information Systems based on the proposal of Ghor Institute of Higher Education and the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education. The faculty has recruited 80 students in its two departments for the first time in 1400, and the process of recruiting students is going on annually.

The faculty carries out its work with a vision, mission and strategic plan. In order to improve and attract the cooperation of professors in the work of the faculty, it has established a scientific council committee and (01) sub-committees at the faculty level. Each committee has an officer and members. The committees are responsible for their contribution to the implementation of academic activities and report to the President and the Faculty Academic Council.

The Faculty of Computer Science, while providing teaching with accepted standards, has always tried to play a valuable role in the field of research. Therefore, the faculty undertakes educational support programs, workshops and scientific seminars.

The Faculty of Computer Science consists of two department heads, two professors in each department, and teaching, executive and laboratory management. The faculty has a well-equipped and standard laptop computer, two computer classrooms and classrooms equipped with LCD and projector, and is trying to prepare the way for the physical and electronic library facilities of the faculty.

2- Faculty objectives

a) Viewpoint

Another goal of this field is to train a group of computer experts to solve problems raised in computer science or mathematics with a mathematical and logical perspective. Graduates who graduate from this department can be employed in various organizations. They can work as system administrators, network administrators, network engineers, network specialists, network designers, security experts, IT administrators, web developers, and database administrators.

Departments

The Faculty of Computer Science has two graduate departments as follows:

Department of Network Engineering

Department of Information Systems

1- Department of Network Engineering

a) Introducing

The Department of Network Engineering was established in 2010 at the same time as the Faculty of Computer Science. The curriculum of this department was resumed in 1401 in the cluster organized by the Curriculum Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education. The Department of Network Engineering, also known as the Department of Network Engineering, is one of the most active and fundamental departments of the Faculty of Computer Science.
