Conducting awareness programs on the harms and consequences of drugs

Today, Tuesday, 25 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH, equal to 17 September 1405 AH, the awareness program on the harms and consequences of drugs, based on an agreement that was previously signed between the Public Health Department of Ghor Province and Ghor University, was attended by a large number of students. This scientific institution was held.
In this program, the professional team of the Ghor Public Health Department, by presenting scientific and informative content, discussed important and fundamental issues related to drugs. The presenters of the program, each in turn, provided necessary information about the definition of drugs, their types, the reasons for the sanctity and prohibition of drugs, their harms and harmful consequences from the perspective of the verses of the Holy Quran and the hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Also, the subject of addiction and its types, the effects and psychological and social consequences of addiction and ways of release and treatment from the perspective of Islamic Sharia and medicine were explained to students in a scientific and specialized manner.
During the program, the individual, family and social consequences of drugs were emphasized and students were asked to avoid this evil and home-burning phenomenon with awareness and sense of responsibility and play a constructive role in raising awareness and preventing its spread in society.
At the end, a question and answer session was provided and students raised their questions and ambiguities and received necessary and satisfactory answers from the presenters.
The program ended with an emphasis on the importance of raising awareness and preventing drug-related harm in a scientific and educational environment.
