Scientific and research seminar entitled "The Effects of Colonialism in Islamic Society"
Today, Tuesday, 4 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH, equal to 27 August 1405 AH, a scientific and research seminar entitled "The Effects of Colonialism in Islamic Society" was held by the Cultural and Sports Department of Ghor University, with the participation of deputies, heads of faculties, professors, staff and students. Scientific Institute, on the occasion of the commemoration of 24 and 28 August; The victory day of the Islamic Emirate and the 107th anniversary of the restoration of Afghanistan's independence were held in the conference hall of Ghor University.
The ceremony began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by Professor Qari Mohammad Tayeb "Pouya", Director of Research and Scientific Journal.
Then, Mr. Maulvi Abdul Rauf "Fayyaz", Deputy Students of Ghor University, while welcoming the participants, congratulated them on the happy days of 24 and 28 August and emphasized the role of knowledge, education and commitment of the younger generation in preserving the independence and dignity of the country. He encouraged the participants to contribute to the development and prosperity of the country by learning knowledge and strengthening the spirit of responsibility.
Then, Professor Abdullah "Sadiq", Director of Islamic Sciences and Culture of the Faculty of Education, spoke about the concept of colonialism, its origins and its tragic consequences in a scientific and analytical manner. He discussed the methods of colonialism's influence in Islamic societies, its intellectual, cultural and social consequences and emphasized the need to understand the phenomenon of colonialism and ways to deal with its effects and consequences by providing scientific and documentary analyses.
In another part of the program, in order to create a spiritual atmosphere and vitality in the ceremony, the song team of Ghor University students read their Naat, which was warmly welcomed by the audience and made the atmosphere of the ceremony more fresh and spiritual.
Then, Professor Mohammad Sadiq "Saqib", Director of Islamic Education, Faculty of Sharia, shared valuable statements with the audience about the role of the Islamic system in dealing with the effects and consequences of colonialism. He stressed the importance of the rule of Islamic values, strengthening religious and scientific awareness and its role in preserving the identity and independence of society.
At the end, the scientific and research gathering ended with a prayer.
