Final round of poetry recitation competition among students of Faculty of Education of Ghor University

The final round of the poetry recitation competition among the students of the Faculty of Education of Ghor University was organized by the Cultural Department of the Faculty in coordination with the General Directorate of Cohesion and Student Services, with the presence of Maulvi Mujibullah "Moghari", President of Ghor University, Mufti Abdul Khaleq Awan, Deputy Minister of Scientific Affairs of the University. Hamidullah "Azzam", Head of the Faculty of Education, a number of professors, administrators and a large number of students.
The cultural ceremony began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by one of the students. Then, Mufti Abdul Khaleq "Zahid", Vice Chancellor of Ghor University, while welcoming the participants and expressing his satisfaction with the launch of such cultural programs, spoke about the position of poetry and literature, the history and longevity of poetry in Islamic culture and civilization and its role in reflecting the thoughts, feelings and values ​​of valuable human speakers and intellectuals.
Then, the competitive part of the program began with the participation of 12 students who had qualified for the final round in the initial stage of the competition. The participants performed their poems in the presence of a four-member panel of judges, and each of them, using their expressive abilities, literary taste and artistic skills, performed the selected works in different and pleasant ways.
The literary competition was held in an atmosphere full of cultural enthusiasm and with the aim of identifying and nurturing literary talents, strengthening speaking skills, raising self-confidence and encouraging students to actively participate in cultural and artistic fields.
Finally, after evaluating the performances and reviewing the judging criteria, five students who had presented excellent and worthy performances were appreciated and certificates of appreciation were awarded to them in recognition of their literary abilities and merits.
It is worth mentioning that holding such cultural and literary programs plays a valuable role in discovering and nurturing young talents, enriching the cultural and literary atmosphere of the academic environment, strengthening the spirit of self-confidence and creating a healthy and constructive competition among students.
The cultural ceremony ended with a good wish and wish for success, prosperity and increasing progress for the participants and organizers.
