Directorate of Faculty Affairs

The Directorate of Faculty Affairs was established in 1401 AH. It was established and approved within the framework of the Vice Chancellor for Scientific Affairs of Ghor University. The Faculty Affairs Directorate also has another rank 5 position called Faculty Affairs Management. The main activities of this directorate are: arranging the agenda of the meeting of the academic council, reproducing and following up the decisions of the academic council, arranging the announcement of vacancies in the faculties, during the process of appointment and promotion of professors, introducing professors in scholarships inside and outside the country, proposing professors in the packages of the academic council and resolving the issues. Fee-paying professors to improve teaching in the faculties of this university.

Specialty Duties:

Identification of qualified and competent academic staff according to the established criteria for the purpose of better recruitment of academic staff positions of Ghor University. location.

1- Arrange the agenda of the scientific council and provide the necessary documents for the recruitment, dismissal and scientific promotion of scientific staff members.

2- Guide and arrange the documents of the candidates and distribute the job search forms of the newly appointed members to go through the recruitment process in accordance with the principles and regulations.

3- Create a database to enter information and details of academic staff members and vacancies of Ghor University.

4- Planning for training academic methods and systems, technical documents of relevant affairs for academic staff members of Ghor University.

Introduce eligible faculty members to domestic and foreign scholarships.

Managerial duties:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual work plans in accordance with the relevant departments to achieve the set goal

Manage and configure the file system in hard and soft form to maintain recruitment documents, resumes and records of promotion and dismissal of academic staff members

Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and, where necessary, reports on the activities and achievements of the relevant department in the field of appointment and academic promotion of professors.

Performing other related duties and duties assigned by the competent authorities in accordance with the law

Coordination tasks:

Coordinate and establish working relationship with the Directorate of Appointment, Dismissal and Academic Promotions of Professors of the Ministry of Higher Education to better advance matters

Coordination in the Human Resources Departments of the University/Higher Education in the appointment, promotion, transfer and dismissal of academic staff members

Cooperate with the appointment, transfer, promotion and dismissal committees during the review of the quality assurance process to prepare the necessary documents

Ghor University has five faculties and (88) professors are currently working in five faculties. Of these professors, 6 are in the academic ranks of professors, 13 are in the rank of professors, 16 are in the academic ranks of professors and 53 are candidates.
